Meet Our Team

Leslie Wilson, Vice President

Leslie Wilson joined Wee Watch® in 1987 and quickly became an active part in the development of the successful Wee Watch brand and agency program. Hands-on in managing the company's business operations, Wilson also continues to be instrumental in elevating and maintaining child care well above regional standards in all Wee Watch homes.

Wilson takes pride in ensuring that Wee Watch management and Providers continually update their knowledge of educational methods and care components. She strives to provide every opportunity for children to achieve their full potential while in the care of Wee Watch. Assisting franchisees in utilizing the Wee Watch system is another part of Wilson's duties. Not only does this help franchisees achieve personal and financial goals, but also ensures a valuable service is provided to the community.

When the current Canadian Universal Child Care benefit was proposed in 2006, Wilson was invited to address both the House of Commons as well as the Senate. She presented her expert opinions on daycare business, the Wee Watch program and the financial impact on families requiring childcare. Wilson has found a home for her talents with Wee Watch. After 23 years, she still enjoys supporting the supervisors in providing nurturing and educational environments for children to grow.

Annett Holeschek, Manager, Daycare Operations

Annett Holeschek first joined Wee Watch as a home childcare Provider in 1989. During her seven years as a Provider, she went to school part-time and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. This allowed her to venture into a more managerial role as a childcare consultant and, eventually, Area Supervisor. Being able to be involved with Wee Watch in many capacities gave her the insight into what Wee Watch customers need and how to ensure quality child care is available in the community.

In 2003, Holeschek joined Wee Watch Home Office to provide support to Wee Watch customers and franchisees. As Manager, Daycare Operations, Holeschek is in constant contact with franchisees and government representatives to ensure that the Wee Watch system continues to meet or exceed regulations. Being involved in programming components as well as other communication and training tools, Holeschek strives to ensure that all franchisees use the many aspects of the system to maintain the high level of service in addition to building their business.

Training Home Visitors in their roles as support consultants to Providers and families through on-site visits has been another of Holeschek's duties. Holeschek believes that every person involved with Wee Watch, whether it is the franchisee, office staff, Home Visitors or Providers make the difference in the quality of customer service and care provided in the community.
